With over 4,000 attendees, 300 sessions and 60 exhibitors, the Summit was buzzing with hundreds of privacy professionals, many of whom traveled to the D.C. Summit from all corners of the globe. This year’s Summit was the perfect setting for privacy-related education, guidance, inspiration and connections that spotlighted the big picture of data protection.
TrustArc SVP Product Management, Michael Lin, took over the Little Big Stage on Thursday morning to discuss how businesses use the TrustArc Platform to automate and manage global privacy compliance for regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and many others. Michael introduced the newly released enhancements of the TrustArc award-winning platform. These enhancements included a set of dynamic components for regulatory news & insights, risk scores, program status, and other privacy program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) integrated into a unified privacy program management dashboard.
Josh Harris, TrustArc Director of International Regulatory Affairs, was a panelist on Thursday’s session discussing “A Convention 108-CBPR Guide to Trans-Border Data Flows.” He was joined by fellow panelists Sophie Kwasny (Council of Europe), Florence Raynal (CNIL), and Gabriella Zanfir-Fortuna (Future of Privacy Forum).
