Call centres are a fact of modern life and companies using them need to be able to interact securely and safely with their customers.
This requirement is proving to be an increasingly good business for Eckoh Holdings, which recently posted a bullish trading update ahead of the latest year-end numbers.
Eckoh highlighted not only a return to growth in its UK call centre arm, where it traditionally specialises in automated response software, but big contract wins in its US business as well.

Nik Philpot, Eckoh's chief executive, said both sides are going very well at present with revenues smartly higher in both geographies in the year to the end of March.
In the UK, the total contract value from new business and renewals more than doubled from the previous year.
That included the largest Omnichannel agreement won by the group since it moved into this area with the acquisition of Klick2Contact in 2016.
