One of the executives with a seat at that table was Vishaal Hariprasad, the CEO of cyber insurance firm Resilience.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Hariprasad gives an insider's view of the White House meeting with Biden's cybersecurity team and also discusses:

  • The agreements and disagreements between private industry and the White House over cybersecurity;

  • The role that cyber insurance plays in changing security attitudes;

  • How threats such as ransomware are changing the industry.

  • Hariprasad, best known as "V8," co-founded what is now known as Resilience in 2016 to bridge the divide between cyber insurance and cybersecurity and serves as CEO. A licensed insurance broker and producer and a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and the cybersecurity industry, he also spent years with the National Security Agency.
