Parallels Toolbox plays new tricks - iTWire

The latest version of Parallels Toolbox features new and improved functions.

Parallels Toolbox, available for Windows and macOS, is designed to simplify the operation of a computer by reducing selected tasks to a single click.

Parallels Toolbox 3.5 includes more than 30 tools.

"We listened to PC and Mac users who asked us for new tools they need to further simplify their lives," said Parallels senior vice president of engineering and support Nick Dobrovolskiy.

"Break Time, Energy Saver, Hide Menu Icons, Clipboard History and Sleep Timer are now included with dozens of other one-click solutions. Together, they make Parallels Toolbox an indispensable one-stop application for businesses and individuals who like saving time and money."

What's new in the Windows version?

Energy Saver activates various settings (some usually hidden) to reduce system resource usage and increase battery life. The company claims this can reduce power consumption by up to 8%.

Break Time reminds you to stand and take a break from your computer. Work periods are variable between 30 and 50 minutes with breaks of one to 15 minutes.
