The wife of an embattled local councillor defended her husband after explosive revelations that he sent texts to a young girl about her bikini pictures on Instagram.

Angela Carbone's social media post described her husband, former Burnside councillor Julian Carbone, as a 'gentleman' who had been subjected to 'incredible nastiness' in recent days.
