Trend Micro's new all-in-one security suite covers identity theft, public Wi-Fi use, and password management

Protecting your personal devices from the dangers of cyber threats is a no-brainer. However, it feels a hassle when you have devices on all sorts of operating systems. It's not unusual to find yourself with a laptop running on Windows 10, a smartphone with Android OS, and your iPad, well, is on the Apple ecosystem.

Trend Micro's updated cybersecurity suite product for home and personal use not only covers six devices, but it covers a gamut of desktop and portable operating systems within one subscription - PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Chromebook. It also comes with other features to help secure online payments, prevent identity theft, and encourage safer browsing habits.

For instance, free Wi-Fi in public areas is tempting, but free Wi-Fi presents a host of cybersecurity vulnerabilities when your device connects to one. Suppose your phone or tablet is covered under Trend Micro's Security Suite. In that case, it offers a Wi-Fi Protection feature that uses a VPN to secure your personal information when you're browsing on public Wi-Fi. How handy is that?

Other features include ID Security that monitors the dark web to check for identity theft and a Password Manager for folks to store their passwords more securely (instead of saving it on a file somewhere on your system).

The full suite of protection launches today in Singapore, and it costs S$149.95 for 12 months across six devices. Trend Micro also offers other packages depending on your device ecosystem. More details can be found at Trend Micro's landing page here.
