Former Google Cloud executive Michael Aiello has joined the executive team at cyber security vendor Secureworks as its new CTO
As CTO, Aiello will play a pivotal role in setting Secureworks‘s long-term strategic vision, accelerating business transformation and championing the customer base to deliver enhanced security outcomes.
Aiello brings over 20 years’ experience in the technology sector to Secureworks, with a prominent focus on security and data privacy initiatives, most recently serving as chief product officer at HUMAN Security.
Prior to this, the new appointment served as CEO of zero trust company AppGate, leading the then-newly spun out organisation from Cyxtera Technologies.
Aiello has also held the role of director of product management at Google Cloud, overseeing security, privacy and data protection product areas, as well as serving a tenure as CISO at Goldman Sachs.
