Talent pipelines often help give workers the skills they need to be able to move forward, either at the place they are already working at, or they can help them land a position with a new company once they have gained the required skills.

In this episode, Kip and Jason talk about what a talent pipeline is and why hiring managers should be using a solid talent pipeline in order to bring in new people into the cybersecurity industry to meet their staffing needs.

They are joined by Max Shuftan, director of Mission Programs and Partnerships at the SANS Institute, and Winnie Yung, a graduate of the SANS Institute’s Diversity Cyber Academy who has now broken into the cybersecurity industry.
