Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 and Galaxy XCover Pro launch with enterprise grade features

Samsung has introduced new devices as part of their Samsung for Business’ portfolio and the Galaxy Tab Active3 and Galaxy XCover Pro both feature a more durable build quality and defence grade security.

Samsung estimated that by using ruggedised, enterprise-grade devices, these businesses were able to see a 25% reduction in the total cost of ownership (TCO) as the technology going into their design enable frontline workers to be more secure, collaborative and productive in the field.

Both devices are built to military (MIL-STD-810H) specs. This means they have protection against extreme altitude, humidity, and other severe environmental conditions. An IP68 rating for the tablets and S-pen means they’re also water and dust resistant, capable of withstanding drops of up to 1.5m, even without a case and be submerged in water ..
