Rajat Maheshwari, CISO, PNB HousingRajat Maheshwari has joined Punjab National Bank Housing Finance as CISO where he will be responsible for leading the IT security and cybersecurity domain at the company. Prior to this new role, he has served a stint of 3 years at Max Bupa as CISO.
New Delhi-based Maheshwari will be focused on building a new security framework on a risk-based approach at PNB Housing. His plan of action includes developing a risk mitigation strategy while integrating advanced security tools into the current systems and enhancing the user experience as well. He will also be taking care of governance, data security, and security assessment at the housing finance company.
Maheshwari comes with 18 years of varied experience in IT Operations and Information Security in the BFSI sector. In his last assignment, he led the cybersecurity function as CISO at Max Bupa Health Insurance where he introduced effective information security governance and practices.
He has completed his post-graduation in Cyber Law & Security from IMT. His core competencies include Risk management, Data privacy, Audit & Compliance.
