Outpost24, specialists in managing cybersecurity exposure, has celebrated its 20th year anniversary by announcing the appointment of Karl Thedéen as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.


Thedéen brings over 20 years of experience in the software and technology sector, having previously held CEO roles at Edgeware AB and Transmode AB public in 2011 before its acquisition by Infinera. Thedeen will be replacing Martin Henricson who will continue to serve as a member on the board of the directors.


“From growing the product line of their full-stack security assessment solutions, to securing new investment and expanding internationally, Outpost24 is a high growth, high potential company with a strong foundation,” said Thedéen. “The company has amazing customers and a platform that is well-positioned to transform and adapt to the modern cybersecurity landscape. Outpost24, which recently secured a SEK 200 million investment at the end of 2020, will be opening a new headquarters in Karlskrona, Sweden as well as opening a new headquarter office, and a new software development centre in Hanoi, Vietnam. The new locations will enhance and supplement the company’s existing R&D centre, and help drive further innovation in its full stack security assessment solutions and accelerate the overall growth trajectory of the company.
