NIST Community Resilience Program researchers and researchers at the Community Resilience Center of Excellence will be participating in the upcoming Natural Hazards Workshop 2021 and the following Researchers Meeting.
The 46th Annual Natural Hazards Workshop will focus on the theme "The Hazards and Disaster Workforce: Preparing to Meet 21st Century Challenges". The Workshop will take place virtually July 11 - July 14, 2021.
The 2021 Researchers Meeting is scheduled to immediately follow the workshop on July 14-15, 2021! The Researchers Meeting will focus on Advances in Longitudinal Disaster Recovery Research. Sessions will highlight methodological frontiers in longitudinal disaster research while also focusing on empirical, theoretical, and modeling advances in the study of long-term recovery.
