Solista expands into Brisbane and beyond

Sydney cloud and security consultancy Solista is about to open a Brisbane office.

Company co-founder Noel Allnutt told CRN Solista has recently secured several big wins with corporate and government clients.

One, a major travel services firm, has a significant presence in Brisbane. Solista will therefore open an office in the Queensland capital to service that client and seek further opportunities.

“We are now realising the potential of our professional services division,” Allnutt told CRN. “We invested in hybrid cloud, identity, observability and cyber security and all four areas are really flying.”

The Brisbane office will open in early 2020, led by a Sydney-based staffer who was already planning a move north. A further two or three hires will follow quickly, plus another three to five in Sydney to support growth at headquarters.

“We’re also looking at Melbourne,” Allnutt said.

Pure Storage, Cisco, Splunk and CrowdStrike are Solista’s current star vendors, Allnutt said.

“They’re our main growth partners right now.”

Solista also works with AWS, Rubrik, Cohesity, New Relic, Okta, Forescout, Mimecast, Veeam, Vormetric and Ansible.
