Jacxine Fernandez joins Bangalore International Airport as VP information Security
Cybersecurity leader, Jacxine Fernandez has joined Bangalore International Airport Ltd. (BIAL) as VP information Security. Until recently Fernandez was VP and CISO for Adani Group.

Commencing operations in2008, BIAL was the first Greenfield airport in India established under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. It paved the way for other Greenfield airport contracts in the country were signed on a similar model.

At Adani Group, Fernandez provided the vision and leadership for enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives spread across multiple companies covering various sectors, including Utilities, Ports, Manufacturing, Gas Distribution, Airports, etc. Among his key responsibilities were leading and enhancing the 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC), Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Third-Party Risk Governance and Cyber Security Awareness Program.


During his over 24 years of extensive experience, Fernandez has worked across a wide spectrum of industries. His experience includes managing risk and security operations and business continuity within complex working environments in the Middle East and Africa.
