Microsoft (MS) has released an update into Windows 11, which updates and upgrades the current security features to a new level. This includes enhancements to application controls, protection shield to vulnerable drivers, identity theft protection and a simple way to manage all passwords.
The American tech giant disclosed that the new security induction into its latest Operating System was done after inputs from its artificial intelligence wing that analyzed about 43 trillion security lapses to help protect users from scripted phishing, disallowing them from running apps on untrusted environments and shielding them from malware attacks.

Dexterous improvements to virtualization-based Hypervisor Protected Code Integrity (HVCI) allow users to gain enhanced kernel protection against all variants of cyber threats. By October 1st week, all Win 11 systems will see HVCI enabled by default as it is going to be pushed with an update.
Giving respite to those concerned about system drivers being exploited by hackers, MS will enable vulnerable drivers’ block list feature by default from this month end.
To corporate admins concerned about credentials steal in hybrid environments in enterprises, the technology firm has enabled Windows Defender Credential Guard and Credentials Isolation feature that Local Security Authority will shield (LSA) protection.
Coming to the fact of saving users from Phishing attacks, the Satya Nadella led firm will now enable Microsoft Defender Smart screen that will issue an alert to online users, as soon as they enter credentials on a compromised application or website.
NOTE- MS is yet to provide an update on the vulnerability that was detected early this week on the TikTok app, allowing hackers to hijack user accounts, remotely.
