The breakdown in negotiations over Democrats’ “Build Back Better” legislation leaves hundreds of millions of dollars for CISA, including targeted funding for info-sharing and industrial control system security, sitting on the table heading into 2022 with the possibility that this cash infusion will not be enacted.
