    But EncroChat, the encrypted platform those involved used able to set up drug deals and even hire hitmen on specially-designed handsets, has already shut down with few clues left behind.

    Three weeks ago, the shadowy company sent out text messages to clients warning them to dispose of their phones because of a breach in the phone network's infrastructure.
