Apply Now For The Hottest Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator Programme

With cyber threats in continuous evolution, now more than ever do we need new ideas, new products, new protective measures to defend individuals and organisations, public and private, from cyber attacks.

To help academics commercialise their ideas, CyberASAP (Cybersecurity Academic Startup Accelerator Project), funded by DCMS in collaboration with Innovate UK & KTN, has created a programme that has, since its launch four years ago, helped over 50 academic teams progress their ideas from lab to market. The programme is aimed at promoting innovation and investment, and remains the only pre-seed accelerator programme in the cybersecurity space.

With specialist training, workshops, briefings and bootcamps, CyberASAP provides participating teams with vital insights into the key milestones necessary to take their product from lab to market.

The programme has two phases:

Phase 1 – developing your value proposition and market validation. Successful teams from Phase 1 will progress to

Phase 2 – developing your proof of concept. This culminates in a Demo Day in February 2021 where teams’ prototypes are showcased to potential investors and industry.

A list of the teams that reached the final stage of this year’s programme is here and you can find out more about previous teams’ progress with their projects here.
