ABBYY recently announced the appointment of Paul Nizov to the company's leadership team as Chief Information Security Officer.                              


FREMONT, CA: ABBYY, a Digital Intelligence organization, has appointed Paul Nizov to the company's leadership team as Chief Information Security Officer. Paul will advocate for security's significance and effect among the company's leadership team, manage security risk, and oversee the strategic, operational, and budgetary elements of safe software development, data privacy, and information protection in this newly developed position.

Paul has extensive technical, legal, and military experience in the United States, the Middle East, and Asia. He was the MENA Managing Director of Cybersecurity at Ernst & Young before joining ABBYY. Paul collaborated with and consulted Saudi and Emirati clients on developing cybersecurity capabilities to tackle regional threats during his four years in the Middle East. Prior to his tenure in the field, he worked at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he concentrated on securing vital infrastructure in North America.
